Our range of experiences in the development of Radio Frequency (RF) Generator platforms led to tremendous insight on the effects of RF energy on various tissues.  This knowledge, coupled with a recurring Client need to more rapidly establish energy profiles as a precursor to full-scale development, led to the creation of a software-based lesion simulation tool.

The tool creates thermal simulations of lesions using a finite element method, and results can be verified with infrared (IR) thermography.  Once the targeted tissue response has been established, new RF probe or catheter configurations can be quickly tested and moved to development.
