Covidien SCD Express™ Compression System Controller – RBC partnered
with Covidien in the development of this clinically-proven modality for
the prevention of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). The system offers the
clinician two different prophylactic methods with a single controller –
leg compression and foot compression. Engineering specialties expertise
supplied by RBC for this project included electronics, software,
mechanical and systems engineering.

Philips Multi-parameter Module
Provides real-time waveforms and
numeric values for the “standard of care” measurements most often used
in hospitals – ECG, respiration, SpO2, non-invasive blood pressure, and
invasive pressureor temperature. RBC engineers assisted Philips by
developing the arterial oxygen saturation measurement engine software
and electronics to meet all of the monitoring and form-factor needs. |

Bioform Medical (ACI Medical) GFX Radiofrequency Generator
RBC
engineers with expertise in electronics, software, mechanical, systems
and industrial design designed and developed this minimally invasive RF
energy generator for facial nerve ablation in the treatment of globellar
furrow. As part of the system, RBC also developed a sterile, disposable
handheld probe.

Bioform Medical (ACI Medical) GFX System Probe
This probe compliments the GFX Radiofrequency Generator and has two functions – stimulating the nerve to identify the proper location for treatment and delivering the heat energy in a measured dose to reduce activity of the targeted nerve. RBC engineers completed the development from requirements definition through sterile packaging validation.
